“Why do we do what we do?”Aren Deu
A bit of a brain dump of an episode here, where I ask you the question “Do you help people because you want to be a hero, or do you want to truly just help people?” The reason behind this however, is that I am intrigued as to why we do what we do.
So ask yourself:
Do you help people because you want to be a hero?
Because you just truly want to actually help?
You often see in life, myself included – I am not perfect – we tend to help people for mixed reasons.
But more so with social media & with narcissism traits becoming more apparent by the hour, I see people offering help or assistance with a hidden agenda/intent.
Not saying this is wrong by the way, after all I am just 1 man’s opinion, voicing my thoughts from time to time.
But I am truly, truly fascinated in understanding why do we do what we do?
Why do we need to suddenly try to take advantage of mental health deaths & post of the back of it pretending it has always been our cause? Why do we jump on trending topics in attempt to show our own ‘worthiness’?
Why does tragedy force us to open up our social media accounts & show the world we are so great rather than show those around us, in person, around the corner, a drive away their importance first and foremost?
Why do we need to shout from the rooftops of our “Charitable work”?
To encourage others, or to prove to ourselves and others that we are good people?
I am fascinated by this & I don’t know the answers yet.
But I would in my limited knowledge put it down to, ego, a lack of something, a need for external validation, narcissism or not feeling enough irrespective of what you may actually already have..
I expect no-one to state they help people because they want something back. I am sure we all like to see ourselves as the latter of the initial questions. But deep down, we are all capable of figuring out and understanding why we do what we do, if we do not already know!
Nonetheless, I ask you the question, rhetorically of course.
Do you help people because you want them to see you as a hero?
Do you help people because, you can, expecting nothing back and because it is always a good thing to do & you just want to genuinely help?
This is a huge self awareness exercise that will teach us all an amazing lesson. Take time to figure this out, and really understand who you are.

welcome to an episode of find your voice a movement led by yours truly Aren Deu a guy who was overcome crippling anxiety adversity and difficulty like so many of you in life whose main goal now is to help you combat your excuses take control of your life write your own story and most importantly find your voice so now without further ado I welcome the host of the show himself Mr Aren Deu what’s going on people thank you for tuning into another episode of find your voice my name is ironed out as always I am the host of the show so when I ask you a question I never got my fingers crossed right now because I’m actually hoping somebody is going to engage I maybe send me a message or an email or connect on Instagram announcer this I want to know why you help people I want to know do you help people because you want to become a hero or do you help people because you truly want to help people you see often in my life I’ve seen people about about not perfect at this but I’ve seen people help other people for mixed reasons for various reasons nothing more so with social media recognizing narcissistic traits I see people offering help or assistance with a hidden agenda or intent now I’m not saying this is wrong by the way after all I’m just one man’s opinion voicing my thoughts from time to time but it’s not something that I agree with but I’m just truly truly fascinated understanding why we do what we do why this tragedy forces to open up a social media accounts and write a post pretending that we K. rather than putting the phone down knocking on the neighbor’s door ringing up parents ringing us siblings seen somebody that you will pass and asking them if they’re okay if people around us why do we need to shout from the rooftops about charitable work is to encourage of this or is it to prove to ourselves and others that we are great people you see I’m fascinated by this and I don’t you know the answer well at least not yet but with my limited knowledge I kind of put it down to ego a lack of something within our allies I need for external validation maybe salsa schism or just the feeling of just not being enough or have enough irrespective of what you actually have and I expect no one by the way to state that they help people because they want something back I’m sure we would like to see ourselves as great people you just want to help people because you want to help people and deep down we all kind of know why we do the things that we do but again it comes out to win as he comes out to us really being still in the moment trying to figure out why do we just do that did you do that because you want to some likes we want people to think that we really care about mental health what we care about other people when deep down all we want is more people to buy our product or a system or whatever it is that you’re selling okay as I said at the beginning of the show this isn’t a by saying who’s wrong and who’s right it’s just about trying to understand why we do what we do because until you don’t know that you’re gonna have those moments of a lack of clarity that follows in your head when you’re thinking why must there aren’t happy why must they will not be for failed why must those struggling with myself even though I’m any more money or I’ve supposedly got more followers on Facebook or Instagram so that’s just something that I’ve been thinking about for a while it’s simply not though are trying to gauge with you guys as listeners because I know a lot of you loyal listeners who are absolutely the reason I wake up and do the show every single day and try to bring the best content for you or is that you’re good people you have great morals you have good values but even good people have certain traits that can be improved myself included I openly speak about my floors above and abilities on as many shows as possible always try to be transparent and has such a way to go as well I’m sure there’s things I do red eagle is involved why there’s a level of gnosticism was something that I just haven’t quite figured out yet but more so than not there are certain things I just do from the hall and I am a hundred percent confident in that so when I see other people not do from the hot it just makes me scratch my head it just makes me try to think and almost reverse engineered up Harrison and think why you doing that what are you truly try to gain from this because I was believe if there’s a hidden agenda or hidden intent behind that that’s not authentic and I find it very very difficult to see anyone being truly truly happy and being able to find their voice and write their own story if they’re not one hundred percent authentic so I’m gonna cut it even there was a bit of a a supposed rhetorical question but hopefully some of you can reach out let me know if this episode was of use I always have the stores the more reading I do the more people engage in the kind of just a brain goes into overdrive nothing connected with you people you all on the same path as myself in terms of finding a voice we try to enhance not just off physical health Osama mental health as well and just live this very short precious life in the best way possible I think it was an important topic so hopefully you agree as well and then just ask yourself do you help people because you can not expecting nothing back in because it’s always a good thing to do I just want to genuinely help or do you help people for something else as always people thank you so much for your time today hope you have not sitting credible date if you do you get
